- You bring hands-on Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code experience, turning complex environments into clean, repeatable, version-controlled builds.
- You enjoy using PowerShell and Bash to automate the manual work others still do the hard way.
- You're confident administering Windows Server and Linux environments and keeping critical systems secure, stable, and ready for what's next.
- You understand virtualization, including Nutanix, and know how to keep hosts, clusters, capacity, and performance running smoothly.
- You've built in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) across compute, storage, networking, identity, and serverless patterns — with an eye toward cloud environments that scale with the business.
- You know Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and certificate services — the core services that keep an enterprise connected.
- You can connect the dots across switching, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPN, and hybrid connectivity between the data center and the cloud.
- Storage, backup, and disaster recovery are familiar territory, including SAN/NAS and backup tooling — because resilience is more than a buzzword.
- You look for smart ways to use PowerShell, Bash, or Python to make infrastructure faster, safer, and easier to support.
- Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines are part of your infrastructure toolkit, bringing software-engineering discipline to systems work.
- You take pride in patch management, monitoring, and systems hardening, building environments that are both reliable and secure.
- You troubleshoot with curiosity and a root-cause mindset, digging past symptoms to solve the real problem.
- You communicate clearly in writing and conversation, translating technical complexity into practical next steps.
- Strong documentation and diagramming skills help you leave behind roadmaps others can follow.
- You balance planned projects, urgent incidents, and everything in between with strong time management and prioritization.
- You enjoy sharing knowledge and raising the technical bar for the people around you.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field — or equivalent hands-on experience
- 5+ years in systems engineering / infrastructure administration (Windows, Linux, virtualization)
- 5+ years building infrastructure in Azure and/or GCP
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Solid networking, storage, and Active Directory fundamentals
- Microsoft Azure Administrator and/or Google Associate Cloud Engineer certification
