Job Description

We're seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer who excels in supporting multi-faceted IT infrastructures, especially in dynamic, client-focused settings. Perfect for a flexible, resourceful professional ready to handle everything from networking to server management, this role offers a chance to work on impactful projects with a supportive team and room for growth. This JFC Global exclusive role is offered on a permanent, hybrid basis up to 100k plus bonus, based on experience. This position is ideal for a Systems Engineer who: Has at least 7 years of external client-facing network consulting experience, or complex multi-site in-house experience, or as a one person shop managing everything. Possesses broad expertise in routing, switching, firewall, and cloud technologies Is capable of managing complex projects involving M&A, multi-site setups, network expansions or separations Has hands-on experience with Cisco, Meraki, VMware, Microsoft 365, Azure, Dell, and HPE solutions Can troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, Active Directory, and cloud integrations effortlessly Is comfortable working independently and collaborating within a team Holds or is willing to pursue certifications like CCNA, CCNP, Virtualization or cloud certifications Key responsibilities for the Systems Engineer include: Building proficiency with company systems, tools, and client environments Designing, deploying, and maintaining advanced IT infrastructures for optimal performance and security Acting as an escalation point for other Tier 1/2 engineers and help desk Responding to client support requests across diverse infrastructure complexities Troubleshooting network and server issues with a proactive approach Monitoring system health and applying preventative maintenance Escalating complex problems swiftly to minimize business impact Participating in on-call rotations Documenting all support activities accurately within ticketing systems What we provide: Competitive salary within the range of $75,000 to $100,000 Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, starting the first of the month after employment 2 weeks PTO, growing with tenure, plus special paid time off for tenure at the company 9 company-recognized holidays plus additional personal holiday options Company laptop and monthly $50 stipend for personal smartphone use on business Support for continuing education and cross-training opportunities A hybrid work environment with 2 days in office, including minimal travel (roughly once per quarter) Opportunities to contribute to meaningful projects like M&A integrations, network security upgrades, and cloud migrations Excited to bring your expertise to a forward-thinking team supporting a variety of challenging projects?
