- _What Software & Information Platforms contributes to Cardinal Health_
- Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services.
This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value. Software & Information Platforms manages the technical configuration, design, administration, development, implementation and support of application and information frameworks that the organization's application solutions utilize. This job family partners with Application Development & Maintenance teams and other Information Technology function teams to identify enhancements for platforms and long-term capabilities.
- _Responsibilities_
- + Lead the design, development, and enhancement of core software & information platforms + Provide platform metrics & proactively identify patterns to improve platform stability + Ability to break down complex initiatives into small actionable work items + Troubleshoot complex platform and cloud issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive long‑term stability and performance improvements.
+ Establish platform standards, best practices, and governance across cloud architectures, integrations, and application frameworks.
+ Collaborate with Application Development, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams to translate business requirements into robust platform designs and reusable components.
+ Mentor and guide engineers across teams by providing architectural insights, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical leadership
- _Qualifications_
- + 8-12 years of experience, preferred + Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred + 5+ years of hands-on GCP experience in products like Compute Engine, IAM and APIs + Experience maintaining Databricks platform

- + Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects + Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals + Recommends new practices, processes, metrics, or models + Works on or may lead complex projects of large scope + Projects may have significant and long-term impact + Provides solutions which may set precedent + Independently determines method for completion of new projects + Receives guidance on overall project objectives + Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues Anticipated salary range: $123,400 - $176,300 Bonus eligible:
