Full Job Description Job Description:
Cimarron is seeking an experienced part-time Environmental Control and Life Support Systems (ECLSS) Engineer to support the Boeing CST-100 Starliner program in Houston, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and testing of life support systems for the Starliner program. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ECLS components, including air revitalization, water recovery, thermal control, and waste management.Key Duties:
Design, develop, and optimize life support systems for manned space environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ECLSS with other spacecraft subsystems. Conduct system testing and validation to ensure performance under space conditions. Monitor and troubleshoot system performance during simulation and operational missions. Provide technical documentation and support for system development and testing.Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time. 20 or more years of related experience. In-depth Environmental Control and Life Support Systems (ECLSS) engineering experience. Experience with system integration, testing, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with space mission requirements and standards (e.g., NASA, ESA). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Prior experience in space mission support or aerospace projects. Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related technical discipline.Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:
Experience with CAD tools and thermal simulation software. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Master's degree in Space Systems or related technical discipline.Business Profile:
