Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer for a contract position based in Irving, Texas. This is a 6+ month engagement focused on infrastructure and platform engineering leadership. Responsibilities Lead infrastructure and platform engineering initiatives with a focus on Kubernetes-based environments Design, deploy, and manage container orchestration solutions Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Tekton Establish and enforce GitOps principles and practices using tools such as ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, or RHACM Develop and integrate automation solutions into platform workflows using RESTful APIs Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and networking best practices across hybrid cloud environments Troubleshoot and optimize Kubernetes cluster operations and deployment tooling Qualifications Required 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps roles (or equivalent via education, training, or military experience) 2+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience, including cluster operations, deployment tooling, and troubleshooting 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Tekton 3+ years working with GitOps principles and tools (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, RHACM) Experience with container orchestration and hybrid cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) Linux systems administration experience Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell Experience designing or consuming RESTful APIs and integrating automation into platform workflows Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and compliance considerations
