Job Description Position:
Mid-Level Systems Engineer Status:
Contingent Upon Prime Approval International Systems Management Corp. (ISM) is seeking a qualified individual for a Mid-Level Systems Engineer. The selected individual will provide technical and management support to assist in the planning and execution of the development, production, and in-service program phases of terminal defense systems for the U.S. Navy. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in an Engineering field with at least four (4) years of professional experience.Additional required experience:
proficiency with Microsoft Office Products; strong communication skills (oral and written); and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Required experience includes:
- Systems engineering support for design, development, production, and in-service activities including system analysis, combat system integration, modeling and simulation, and participation in requirements development and maintenance
- Providing technical inputs in Safety and Electromagnetic Environment Effects (E3) areas including reviewing and analyzing plans, schedules, tests, test results, and data packages
- Managing digital efforts such as DevSecOps and Agile development-related activities
- Preparing technical documentation, senior-level briefings, and other reporting requirements
- Participating in program and technical review meetings
- Providing technical inputs for integration methodologies according to various ship classes, combat system capabilities, and available sensors
- Reviewing and commenting on firing policies, interface changes, and operator workloads
- Participating in integration studies, providing technical reviews and comments
- Providing technical review and comments on simulation planning, proposals, and results
- Defining, analyzing, modeling, and validating system requirements, with specific experience development requirements for modeling and simulation and test and evaluation Desired experience includes:
- Master's degree in relevant technical field
- Experience with RAM, CIWS, Cooperative Programs The ideal candidate is dynamic and proactive in meeting customer needs and has the ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate activities across numerous organizations.
