MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Chief Architect to join our team in Chantilly, VA . This role is 100% onsite. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide technical analysis and guidance on all aspects of application development, integration, and consolidation, covering functional and non-functional requirements. Architect and design modernized, efficient applications as legacy applications retire. Provide technical analysis of alternatives regarding use of platforms such as ServiceNow and SalesForce and tailored development. Provide technical guidance on application implementation, documentation, and sustainment. Develop and guide implementation of a modern data architecture spanning a range of data types, applications, access control requirements, and organizational data owners. Provide technical analysis and advice on application and operational environments. Validate IT infrastructure and other reference architectures for adherence to functional and non-functional requirements, including security guidelines and procedures. Recommend changes to enhance security and reduce risks. Facilitate and participate in business and IT alignment through stakeholder collaboration, driving business system strategies. Analyze business and operating models, market trends and the IT industry to determine their potential impact on the Sponsor's enterprise business strategy, direction, and architecture. Manage, rationalize, and optimize the Sponsor's business system, application, data, and information technology architecture. Plan, develop, and execute the Sponsor's Enterprise Architecture (EA) solution strategy, consistent with security guidelines and EA industry standards. Validate IT infrastructure and other reference architectures for adherence to security guidelines and procedures and recommend changes to enhance security and reduce risks.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 12 or more years of software development and engineering experience in large, complex, multi-application environments 7 or more years of software/systems architecture experience, including designing and integrating multiple systems, services, and applications, and applying architecture patterns such as microservices 5 or more years of experience translating business requirements into technical solutions, with the ability to explain complex problems/solutions in clear, simple terms 3 or more years of specialized experience supporting Federal Government enterprise-scale systems Proven experience architecting, developing, and supporting complex technical solutions across the full engineering project development lifecycle Experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, streamlining and consolidating technology stacks, and integrating emerging technologies into an enterprise frameworkPreferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience architecting solutions using ServiceNow and/or Salesforce strongly preferred, including enterprise integration and modernization efforts Advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology Experience designing and implementing multi-cloud solutions Experience with emerging technologies to include leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI)Clearance Requirements:
