Responsibilities What you get to do every day: Work on a development team, utilizing Agile scrum methodology, which is responsible for developing and maintain agency wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capability deployed across multiple security domains. The PaaS environment supports multiple tenants deploying a myriad application stacks and data services. O&M of existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments Support OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they come online Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions Support data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack Compile detailed documentation
Qualifications Security Clearance Required:
Active TS (SCI eligibility) clearance and eligibility to obtain a CI poly is requiredCertification Required:
Must have DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, orCCNA Education/Experience:
Requires Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience 5-8 years Developer experienceRequired Skills:
Experience deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment Experience with Amazon Web Services Python, Shell scripting, Git (desired) Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitOps Container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general What is ideal?
