Job Requirements Stafford, VA Secret Polygraph Unspecified Career Level not specified $120,000 - $140,000 Job Description Overview Bowhead seeks a Mid-Level Systems Engineer to join our team supporting the Program Office for Logistics Integrated Information Solutions - Marine Corps (LI2S-MC) in Stafford, VA. The Systems Engineer will work directly with the client in a hybrid work posture analyzing complex and unique technical support assignments to collaborate with engineers, cybersecurity personnel, logisticians, and program analysts within a scaled agile environment.

The Systems Engineer will:

Design, develop, and manage cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and services. Work closely with other IT professionals, such as developers, architects, and system administrators, to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions. Migrates applications, optimizes resources, and ensures data security and compliance. Responsibilities

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Evaluate legacy applications and systems to determine viability to be migrated or transferred to cloud services.
• Implement and manage cloud-based systems for business use and help debug cloud stacks. Collaborate with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal solutions.
• Develop Fit-for-Purpose User-defined views (subset of architectural data) created for a specific purpose. Collaborate with engineering and cyber teams on the implementation of cloud technologies and initiatives.
• Review and develop hybrid multi-cloud solution architectures. Knowledge of software development, scripting languages, and a background in designing web services in the cloud. Detailed knowledge of SaaS/ PaaS Architecture & Integration, DevSecOps Automation & Optimization, Application & Database Designs, and Software Development Lifecycle & Tools.
• Experience with migrating Core Applications and systems to the Cloud. Detailed understanding of DOD Cloud Provisional Authorization process.
• Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
• BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related scientific or technical discipline. MA/MS degree preferred.
• At least six (6) years of professional experience including at least four (4) years of specialized experience on high visible or mission critical projects within DoW or industry.
• Experience with Navy or Marine Corps programs preferred.
• Experience designing and deploying SaaS/ PaaS cloud environments.
• Experience working with Oracle Fusion a plus.
• Experience using Oracle Visual Builder a plus.
• Proven ability to work on high visible or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, Government personnel, and other stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and the ability to lead a team or perform independently.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically Targeted salary range is $120,000 to $140,000 annually based on qualifications and experience.
