Posted 06/2026 Job Description Job Summary Senior Systems Engineer performs advanced systems integration engineering for the 777-9 program at the company in Everett, WA. The role leads interdisciplinary integration activities to design, develop, and verify system-of-systems solutions supporting certification and entry into service objectives for the 777-9 aircraft. Requirements Education & Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent directly related field
  • 15+ years of experience performing complex engineering or systems integration work
  • 8+ years of experience leading and/or managing complex projects
  • 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen Preferred Skills
  • 10+ years of experience with transport aircraft, Boeing 7-series aircraft, and/or McDonnell Douglas aircraft
  • 5+ years of experience with U.S. and/or foreign aircraft certification and regulatory processes
  • Experience leading major design changes through multiple phases of the product and certification lifecycle
  • Experience working with FAA regulations and regulatory administration
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMBOK framework experience Job Duties & Functions
  • Lead systems integration projects supporting 777-9 certification and entry into service through integrated planning aligned with safety, cost, schedule, and certification constraints
  • Define, decompose, and maintain system requirements, including traceability, verification planning, and configuration control across system boundaries
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve technical integration issues and ensure subsystem and supplier interface compatibility
  • Perform system architecture trade studies to optimize safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, affordability, and certification compliance
  • Identify, assess, and manage technical risks, issues, and opportunities while developing mitigation strategies
  • Lead verification and validation activities and technical investigations to support regulatory compliance and certification closure
  • Communicate technical strategy, tradeoffs, and status updates with internal and external stakeholders, including IPT teams, leadership, suppliers, and regulators
