Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure in Madison, Wisconsin within the insurance industry. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who thrives in a hybrid environment and brings strong expertise in Windows administration, endpoint management, and directory services. The role focuses on maintaining secure, efficient systems, improving device and policy management, and using automation to streamline operational support.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain Group Policy across the environment, ensuring policies are configured, tested, and applied effectively.
  • Administer endpoint management solutions for device provisioning, configuration, compliance, and ongoing support.
  • Perform Active Directory administration, including scripting, cleanup efforts, account maintenance, and organizational updates.
  • Support and optimize Windows-based infrastructure to promote stability, performance, and security.
  • Develop and enhance PowerShell automation to reduce manual tasks and improve administrative efficiency.
  • Oversee Microsoft Intune operations to manage devices, enforce standards, and support modern workplace needs.
  • Assist with system administration activities related to tools such as Azure Active Directory, SCCM, Exchange, and Citrix where needed.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and endpoint issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable resolutions.
