Job Description
Job Title:
Systems Engineer Responsibilities Lead the design, development, verification, and integration activities of avionics systems, ensuring they meet performance requirements and applicable safety standards. Apply the full systems design V-model, from requirements definition through implementation, verification, and validation. Develop, analyze, and manage system requirements, ensuring traceability and alignment with customer and regulatory needs. Create and maintain system models to support architecture definition, design decisions, and system-level analysis. Perform safety analysis activities to identify, assess, and mitigate system risks throughout the development lifecycle. Lead discussions on system and software architecture definition, conducting trade studies to evaluate technical options and make informed design decisions. Drive multi-disciplinary integration problem solving, working closely with hardware, software, reliability, and program management teams. Develop verification procedures and test plans, and support or execute system and integration testing. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $85.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
