Occasional domestic travel to suppliers and test sites We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead a complex weapons-system integration project for a combat vehicle platform. This position will coordinate mechanical, electrical, design and software engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate combines an engineering background with strong project-management and vehicle-systems experience. Direct experience with military vehicles, heavy trucks, defense systems or other complex electromechanical platforms is highly preferred. Responsibilities Lead engineering projects involving medium-to-high technical complexity. Coordinate mechanical, electrical, software and systems-engineering teams. Manage the integration of a weapons system onto a combat vehicle platform. Develop and maintain project schedules, technical plans, action items and deliverables. Track requirements, risks, interfaces, testing activities and engineering changes. Lead technical reviews and communicate project status to internal stakeholders and customers. Support electromechanical system integration, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis. Develop or review DFMEAs and Design Verification Plans and Reports (DVP&R). Coordinate design, development, validation and testing activities. Work with suppliers and travel to supplier facilities or test sites as required. Support system architecture and integration at both the subsystem and complete-vehicle levels. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. At least five years of professional engineering experience. At least two years of successful engineering project-management experience involving projects of medium or greater technical complexity. Experience with electromechanical systems integration. Experience performing root-cause analysis. Experience developing or managing DFMEAs and DVP&R. Strong project-management, business-analysis and cross-functional leadership abilities. Ability to work fully onsite in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Monday through Friday. Ability to travel within the United States. U.S. citizenship is required due to ITAR-controlled work. Preferred Qualifications Military or combat-vehicle engineering experience. Weapons-system integration experience. Heavy-truck, off-highway vehicle or complex automotive systems experience. Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience. Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) experience. Experience managing requirements, interfaces and subsystem architectures. Military service or experience supporting Department of Defense programs. GRPA Pay:
$55.00 - $63.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
