Responsibilities Lead multiple key initiatives to improve security and user trust across Gmail, partnering with our team leads. Maintain and strengthen relationship with other email providers and large senders, driving adoption of new standards and practices to improve security. Own the improvement, hardening, modernization and maintenance of critical security mechanisms such as Keystore, RPC Security Policy, BCID, etc. Lead the team towards a secure rollout of Country-Level Data regions by extending these technologies. Collaborate with Workspace Abuse & Safety Protections (WASP) to reduce abuse in Gmail, driving down the rate of user reports. Lead efforts to ensure the ongoing DevAI revolution does not lead to more insecure, low-quality code. Manage a team of software engineers, investing in their growth and performance management.
