Job Description We are seeking a Staff Security Engineer with deep expertise in Illumio, Zero Trust architecture, and network micro-segmentation to help protect and secure enterprise applications and infrastructure. This individual will serve as the technical lead for Illumio, partnering with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to design and implement segmentation policies, analyze application traffic flows, and reduce organizational risk across cloud and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate combines strong network security fundamentals with cloud security experience, a passion for automation, and the ability to drive large-scale security initiatives while mentoring others and promoting security best practices across the organization. Skills and Requirements 7+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Network Security, or Cloud Security.

Hands-on expertise with Illumio (PCE, VEN, policy creation, administration, and troubleshooting).Strong experience implementing Zero Trust and micro-segmentation strategies.

Deep understanding of network security concepts including firewalls, ACLs, VLANs, subnets, and east-west traffic analysis.

Experience securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, DevSecOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, or security automation.

Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with application, infrastructure, and security teams to drive enterprise security initiatives.

Illumio Core Specialist or Expert Certification.

Experience with Snowflake or enterprise data platform security.

Experience with HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI-DSS, NIST, or other compliance frameworks.

Security architecture experience in large enterprise environments.

Software development or scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Java, etc.).
