THE WORK
As the Classified Cyber Security Senior Manager for Sikorsky, you will lead by example in advancing the RMS Classified Cyber Security mission - "Keep our customers ahead of ready by effectively and efficiently managing security risk to information systems; enabling mission execution, meeting customer requirements, and delivering 21st Century security that supports deterrence, growth and continuous improvement." The incumbent will report to the Director, Classified Cyber Security within the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) business area. In this role you must embody the foundation of Leadership and Technical Excellence, hold yourself and your direct reports accountable to our four strategic priorities of Operational Enablement, Risk Reduction, Workforce Development, and Cost-Conscious compliance.- Provide direct leadership and mentorship to Cyber Security Manager's executing on tactical milestones, ensuring success for portfolio programs and the Classified Cyber Security organization.
- Lead a line of business (LOB)-wide classified cyber security organization to ensure compliance with government and company security requirements. Integrate the Classified Cyber Security Program function with the Program Management leadership team to execute the strategic goals of the assigned portfolio.
- Recruit, develop, and retain classified cyber security talent essential for maintaining secure operations.
- Develop relationships with multiple government and customer security agencies to ensure compliance with Department of Defense Information operating environments (e.g., NISPOM, JSIG, etc.).
- Participate in planning and implementation of current and future security domains including those which may introduce new service areas (e.
- A minimum of 12 years related experience in the classified cyber/classified IT field with 5 years leadership experience.
Strategic/Tactical Cyber Security Leadership:
Proven experience in developing and executing cyber security strategies to ensure compliance with government and company security requirements across classified technology platforms.Information System Accreditation:
Broad experience in government security accreditation standards and processes, including NISPOM, JSIG, Risk Management Frameworks, and Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA).Cyber Security Talent Management:
Ability to recruit, develop, and retain classified cyber security talent to maintain secure operations.Stakeholder Relationship Management:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build strategic relationships with customer security agency representatives, enterprise IT senior management, and stakeholders at all levels.Project Management:
Ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a dynamic environment while ensuring compliance and security objectives are met.- Current IAM Level III or above (CISSP, CISM, CCISO or other DoD 8570/8140 certifications).
Process Standardization:
Experience in standardizing processes and policies across an organization, including the ability to incorporate enterprise-wide standards into the business rhythm and ensure compliance with government regulations.IT Service Management:
Experience with implementing and managing IT management frameworks, to standardize and optimize IT processes and services.Cyber Security Governance:
Experience with developing and implementing cyber security governance frameworks, including policies, procedures, and standards, to ensure compliance with government regulations and industry best practices.Cloud Security Expertise:
Experience with cloud computing principles, including the implementation and management of secure cloud-based systems and infrastructure.Communication:
Excellent written and oral communication skills; capable of producing clear technical documentation and delivering persuasive presentations to senior leadership.Continuous Improvement Mindset:
Track record of implementing process improvements, automation, and emerging‑technology integrations to enhance security posture.Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:
