ORA_ON_SITE Description SAIC is hiring a Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to be located in Pensacola, FL. The successful candidate will be the primary technical resource for Information Assurance (IA) and Cybersecurity.The Senior ISSO will:
Lead and manage a small team of ISSOs supporting the Navy's Center for Information Warfare Training. Ensure cybersecurity readiness for operational readiness assessments. ManageNIST/RMF
system accreditation for multiple training networks of various classifications. Perform vulnerability management and tracking via VRAM and other government vulnerability management solutions. Complete vulnerability scanning using ACAS/Nessus. Perform audit log review. Oversee incident management response and tracking for cybersecurity events and spillages. Verify system configuration compliance withDISA STIG
checklists using automated tools such as eMASSter and SCAP. Manage incidents and requests assigned via Service Now. Perform a variety of routine and non-routine tasks associated with Cyber/Information Security (INFOSEC) and Information Assurance (IA) support in accordance with National and Department of Defense (DoD) standards to include the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Zero Trust. Conduct systems analysis and development to keep systems current with changing technologies, security needs, and user functional requirements. Collaborate with other team leads and government IT & IA personnel.Qualifications Required experience and education:
Bachelor's degree or an associate's degree and five (5) years of experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Minimum of five years of experience in Information Technology (IT) with at least three (3) years of experience in cybersecurity / IA.Certifications:
Must have an activeCASP+ CE
/ SecurityX CE (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner) or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification. CISSP is preferred.Clearance required:
Must possess a TS/SCI security clearance. CI polygraph is required after onboarding.
