Summer Associate Internship (Zero Trust Information Security Analyst) Navy Federal Credit Union United States, Florida, Pensacola Sep 09, 2026 Overview This 12-week internship, running from May 2027 through August 2027, will focus on identifying opportunities in artificial intelligence and automation, documenting Zero Trust requirements, supporting roadmap execution, and contributing to compliance-related activities. Interns will gain hands-on experience through impactful projects, cross-functional collaboration, and exposure to enterprise cybersecurity strategy; applicants must be pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.

Potential project could include:

Drive the adoption of AI and automation across the Zero Trust team to streamline security operations, reduce manual effort, enhance decision-making, and increase overall program effectiveness. Responsibilities Identify, document, and organize Zero Trust capabilities, requirements, and supporting artifacts.

Support automation of Zero Trust compliance processes using Microsoft Copilot AI agents, Tines, and other automation solutions.

Assist with aligning AI/ML standards, controls, and use cases to the enterprise Zero Trust framework.

Conduct research and analysis to support Zero Trust roadmap activities, maturity assessments, and compliance objectives.

Participate in stakeholder discussions and leadership briefings by preparing updates, insights, and recommendations. Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

Interest in artificial intelligence, automation, scripting, or workflow orchestration tools.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or data visualization tools is a plus.

Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to manage deadlines, adapt to new technologies, and work independently or as part of a team.

Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
