What they do
A Vulnerability Analyst or Penetration Tester probes for and exploits security vulnerabilities in web-based applications, networks and systems. Penetration Tests are designed to achieve a specific, attacker-simulated goal and should be requested by customers who are already at their desired security posture. A typical goal could be to access the contents of the prized customer database on the internal network, or to modify a record in an HR system. Vulnerability Assessments are designed to yield a prioritized list of vulnerabilities and are generally for clients who already understand they are not where they want to be in terms of security. The customer already knows they have issues and simply need help identifying and prioritizing them.

Job Description
- Entry to Mid Level (MD/GA/TX) Department of Defense National Security Agency/Central Security Service Summary The United States has experienced profound changes that impact the way the National Security Agency (NSA) conducts its mission.

- Analyze all-source data to evaluate foreign target opportunities
- Understand and evaluate foreign target network
- Develop strategies against those foreign target networks
- Partner with operators to conduct operations against foreign networks
- Inform defensive cyber operations through intelligence collection
- Work with a dynamic team across the Intelligence Community to satisfy critical questions from policy makers, our military and our National Leaders
- Analyze adversaries' communications across multiple mediums.
ENTRY/DEVELOPMENTAL
Entry is with a Bachelor's degree and no experience. The following may also be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position: an Associate's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience; or at least 18 semester hours of military coursework/training in networking, computer science, or cyber topics plus 2 years of relevant experience.FULL PERFORMANCE
Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree and no experience. The following may also be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position: an Associate's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience; or at least 18 semester hours of military coursework/training in networking, computer science, or cyber topics plus 5 years of relevant experience; or successful completion of the CNO Apprentice Exploitation Analyst certification plus 3 years of relevant experience. Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position.Salary Range:
$87,362- 153,082 (Entry/Developmental, Full Performance) Salary range varies by location, work level, and relevant experience to the position.

This is a full-time position, Monday- Friday, with basic 8hr/day work requirement between 6:00 a.
DCIPS Trial Period:
