Essential Functions (continued) Assist in staff training in all the latest security awareness skills, check associated protocols, methodologies and procedures are implemented related to Cyber Security. Assists in the budget allocations and associated financial forecasts relating to Information Technology, Data and Information security. Conducts presentations and effectively representing the department and the County in contacts with other agencies, vendors, contractors and a wide variety of groups and individuals; Serves as a Liaison to Security partners, stakeholders, vendors, and third-party service or solutions providers.

PURPOSE OF CLASSIFICATION
The Cyber Security Officer is responsible for overseeing the overall Cyber, Information and Data security for the entire County; Safeguards information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actualsecurityproblems.TherolecoversstrategicoversightofITSecurityandincludesdevelopinga strategic vision, scoping of requirements, design, development, implementation of IT Security Solutions, along with incident response, and adherence to all necessary protocols, regulations, compliance and any legal requirements.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES
Employees in this classification may be expected to perform any related duties as required by proper authorities.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Computer Technology, Information Technology or a Cyber-Security related field. 7) to Ten () years' experience and/or training that includes computer programming, software configuration, data analysis, data base design/administration, networking systems, computer operations/maintenance, and project coordination OR have a combination of education, training, and work experience that is equivalent to #1 and #2 above that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must be able to be GCIC ( ∬egrity) certified within first 60 days of employment and every year there after Valid State of Georgia driver's license.PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
