Security Analyst

This position will be primarily in-office and located in Warner Robins, GA.

What You'll Do:

Monitor security alerts, logs, and system activity to identify and report unusual behavior or potential threats. Assist with vulnerability scans, help document findings, and follow up on patching and remediation efforts. Provide basic support for security tools including antivirus, endpoint protection, content filtering, and log management systems. Help manage and maintain user access permissions, including onboarding/offboarding and periodic access reviews. Maintain up-to-date documentation on system configurations, security procedures, and audit checklists. Assist in gathering and organizing materials for audits, including ACET reporting and compliance reviews. Track completion of daily security checklists and log routine reviews of core systems and tools. Help update asset inventories and ensure devices meet security and patch compliance standards. Participate in internal IT meetings and cross-training opportunities to learn security protocols and procedures. Assist with email filtering, spam monitoring, and other user-facing security inquiries or support needs. Comply with all applicable policies, procedures, laws and regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.

What You Need To Succeed :

Job Education & Experience Required:

Associate degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field required. A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 1-2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a technical role with exposure to system or security operations.

Knowledge and Job Performance Requirements:

Strong critical thinking and communication skills Basic understanding of Windows environments, networking fundamentals, and information security principles. Familiarity with security tools such as antivirus software, firewalls, SIEM, or vulnerability scanning tools is a plus. Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and a willingness to learn in a collaborative team environment. Proficient in Microsoft products (Server, Exchange, Active Directory, Windows OS, Azure)
