Cybersecurity Analyst
II SALARY
$130,000 - $144,000 plus discretionary bonus
LOCATION
CHICAGO, IL Hybrid 3 days onsite Looking for a candidate to detect analyze and stop emerging cyber threats. You will monitor triaging and responding to security incidents, analysis of threat intelligence and threat hunting operations. Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts and incidents. Utilize threat intelligence feeds to stay informed about emerging threats. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations Develop and implement new detection rules. Maintain and configure security tools and technologies. Document and conform to processes related to security monitoring and incident response. Acts as subject matter expert for security incident responses. Enhance department and organization reputation by delivering quality results and exploring opportunities to increase value and raise awareness of Information Security Program Participate in knowledge sharing with other analysts/engineers and develop solutions efficiently.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree preferred At least six years of experience in an information technology-related field or a minimum of three years of direct cybersecurity experience (required).
Certificates, Licensures, Registrations:
CompTIA Security+, GIAC Information Security Fundamentals or Security Essentials Certification, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Required Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, SentinelOne) Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms (e.g., Sentinel, Splunk, LogRhythm, Exabeam, Google SecOps) including event analysis, log collection/management, alert generation, investigations, and reporting Azure cloud modules (e.g., Sentinel, Defender, Entra, Identity, Key Vault) Endpoint security technologies/agents (e.g., web proxy, DLP, CASB) Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
