in Naperville, Illinois, United States Job Description Ecolab has a unique opportunity for a Commercial Solutions Senior Security Manager to join the global leader in water, hygiene, energy technologies and services in a role that allows for a direct impact on conserving vital resources What you will do: Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, driving alignment across projects, programs, and initiatives. Perform and oversee risk assessments, platform audits, vulnerability testing, and penetration testing to ensure product security maturity. Architect secure solutions for Ecolab's diverse digital offerings, applying industry best practices and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, SOC2). Represent Ecolab Security in customer engagements, including security reviews, questionnaires, and technical discussions. Collaborate with engineering teams on secure software development, cloud architectures (IaaS/PaaS), and IoT deployments. Ensure scalability and standardization of security practices across our diverse customer/industry landscape, as well as globally and via a diverse work force. Translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders, including executives and customers. Drive project execution with strong organizational and leadership skills, ensuring timely delivery of security initiatives. Champion cybersecurity culture within Ecolab by contributing to strategy, guidelines, and awareness programs. Develop customer-facing documentation and sales enablement materials to communicate Ecolab's security posture effectively.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 10 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, software development, or IoT security. 5 years as a software developer or senior developer (C#, .NET, Angular, etc.). 2 years working with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure or AWS). Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AI architecture and integrations. 2 years of project management experience or equivalent leadership in complex initiatives. Proven success in leading large-scale, cross-functional security projects. Experience with DevSecOps, security integration in CI/CD pipelines, and Security Champion programs. Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and associated security considerations. Proficiency with application security tools and frameworks (e.g., Snyk, GitHub, OWASP, CIS). Strong knowledge of IAM, encryption, secure API design, and threat modeling. Demonstrated ability in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and compliance standards (NIST, ISO, SOC2). Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with ability to work across global teams. Flexibility to support global operations and schedules.
