Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Security Engineer II to support cybersecurity, risk management, and application security efforts for

USTRANSCOM

under the PEO-T contract. This person will work directly with government stakeholders and development teams to identify vulnerabilities, support risk assessments, improve security posture, and ensure systems comply with federal cybersecurity requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

Review vulnerability scan results using SAST tools Identify application security weaknesses and recommend fixes Support NIST risk assessments and security compliance efforts Develop and track POA&Ms (Plans of Action & Milestones) Work directly with government stakeholders on risk acceptance activities Support DevSecOps initiatives and CI/CD pipeline security Review contractor-produced security documentation Assess compliance with DISA STIGs and SRGs Recommend network and security architecture improvements Participate in technical interchange meetings and security reviews Ensure systems align with DoD, USTRANSCOM, and federal security requirements We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements 7+ years of experience in Security Engineering, specifically with RMF implementation (Risk Management Framework) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Active IAM Level II Certification (CISSP, SecurityX/CASP+, CISM, CGRC/CAP, GSLC, CCISO, etc.) Must be a US Citizen with a DoD Secret, or higher, clearance determination.
