The RoleManages the operation of IAM Infrastructure, Azure AD, Active Directory, hardware, software, communications, and/or application solutions, and the resources required to plan for, develop, deliver, and support properly engineered IT services and products to meet the needs of a business. Prepares for and supports new or changed services, the change process, regulatory, legal, and professional standards, performance of systems and services in relation to their contribution to business performance, and bought-in services including, for example, public network, virtual private network, and outsourced services. Provides service-level reporting, risk, and contingency planning. Roles and ResponsibilitiesCreate, modify, and delete user accounts, groups, distribution lists, shared mailboxes, rooms, and other directory resources in Active Directory and Azure AD (Entra ID)Administer group memberships, role assignments, and access permissions in accordance with least privilege principlesPerform day to day identity lifecycle management (joiners, movers, leavers)Troubleshoot and resolve account, access, and resource issues across on prem and cloud identity platformsInvestigate authentication, authorization, synchronization, and provisioning issues; escalate as requiredParticipate in incident, problem, and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of identity related issuesCollaborate with infrastructure, security, application, and service desk teams to resolve cross functional identity and access issuesFollow and contribute to standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical documentation, and knowledge base articlesExecute changes in alignment with change management and approval processesCommunicate clearly with stakeholders regarding issue status, root cause, and corrective actionsSupport audits and compliance requirements related to identity and access managementIdentify opportunities for process improvement and automation within directory servicesPerform other IAM work as required including but not limited to access reviews, bulk tasks, or pulling information from production.

Required Professional Experience5+ years of hands on experience with Active Directory, Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID (User/Group/Access Management, Conditional Access, Access Policies), and Microsoft 365 identity objectsStrong troubleshooting skills for user access, group membership, and directory synchronization issuesAbility to follow structured processes while maintaining attention to detailDocumentation and communication skillsProven ability to collaborate across technical and non technical teamsExperience in production environment, change processes, ticketing systems
