SPECIALIST, GS-0080-11, you will administer the Special Security Office (SSO) and all Sensitive Compartmented Informion (SCI)-associed security programs and measures and provides detailed research and analysis on physical, computer, and personnel security. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
: 1 year equivalent to least the next lower grade level. Knowledge of a wide range of security concepts, principles, and practices to review, independently analyze, and resolve difficult and complex security problems. Ability to develop guidance for applying security policy, procedures, techniques, equipment, and methods to a variety of work situions and various levels or degrees of security controls. Knowledge of a broad range of security program relionships, and expertise in informion, personnel, and physical security to effectively implement, integre and administer applicable security programs and/or coordine with other specialized security programs. Knowledge of security classificion methods, concepts, and eligibility for access to classified or sensitive informion to review plans for proposed or new projects, organizions, and/or missions to assure the presence of adeque planning for informion security and other controls.
PHYSICAL EFFORT
: The work is primarily sedentary. Some work may require walking and standing in conjunction with travel for tendance meetings and conferences away from the work site. Some incumbents may carry light items such as papers, files or books, or drive a motor vehicle. The work does not require any special physical effort.
