Senior Cyber Systems Engineer
On-site at the Dedham, MA facility
Pay Estimated:
$70-$87/Hour

We are hiring a Senior Cyber Systems Engineer in Dedham, MA to support the development of advanced Cybersecurity Manager Applications and Encryptor Management systems for mission-critical defense programs. This role requires expertise in systems engineering, requirements management, cybersecurity applications, Agile software development, DOORS, Cameo, REST APIs, PKI, network analysis, and system-level integration/testing supporting secure enterprise and defense communication environments.
Responsibilities:
Define, develop, and manage system design specifications, including Use Cases, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), and Requirements Management
Collaborate with software engineering teams to translate system requirements into software functionality
Develop and execute system-level test procedures to validate performance and compliance
Participate in integrated product teams (IPTs) to coordinate cross-functional development activities
Contribute to the refinement of systems engineering processes across the product lifecycle
Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
Clearance:
Active DoD Secret clearance required at time of hire
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related STEM field required and 8+ years of experience (or 6+ years with a Master's Degree)
3+ years working directly with software teams on system specification and design
Methodologies & Tools:
Systems modeling and requirements management using DOORS or Cameo
Familiarity with Agile development environments
Technical Knowledge:
Systems engineering principles, architectures, and lifecycle practice
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of
SNMP, REST
APIs, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
Experience with ESXi, operating systems, and VM configuration
Network configuration, troubleshooting, and protocol analysis (e.g., Wireshark)
Exposure to UX/UI design considerations
