SteelCloud Security Engineer

Leidos is hiring a SteelCloud Security Engineer in Suitland, MD to implement automated
DISA STIG
compliance, configuration management baselines, and remediation workflows across complex systems supporting Zero Trust objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Administer SteelCloud ConfigOS, Evaluate-STIG, STIG Manager, and SCAP-based compliance policies.
- Perform OS hardening, vulnerability analysis, remediation, audit support, and compliance reporting.
- Develop configuration baselines, documentation, and enterprise-wide compliance automation.
- Collaborate with system owners to remediate findings and streamline compliance workflows.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, IT, IA or related field with 8+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Extensive experience with IA/Security Engineering.
- Expertise with STIGs, SCAP, RMF compliance, and enterprise hardening tools.
Required Certifications - CISSP, CASP, or equivalent DoD 8140 certification.
