What they do
A Vulnerability Analyst or Penetration Tester probes for and exploits security vulnerabilities in web-based applications, networks and systems. Penetration Tests are designed to achieve a specific, attacker-simulated goal and should be requested by customers who are already at their desired security posture. A typical goal could be to access the contents of the prized customer database on the internal network, or to modify a record in an HR system. Vulnerability Assessments are designed to yield a prioritized list of vulnerabilities and are generally for clients who already understand they are not where they want to be in terms of security. The customer already knows they have issues and simply need help identifying and prioritizing them.

Function Specific:
Specialize in understanding cyber adversary tactics, technics, and procedures in the interest of protecting Healthcare's network. Ability to detect and mitigate cyber incidents and vulnerabilities. Cyber defense operations, specialized penetration testing and threat Client & forensics as well as advanced security management skills. Development expertise in cybersecurity considerations to meet evolving cloud computing, web development and mobile device requirements.Technology:
Using technologies, processes, and practices to protect computers, networks, programs and data from unauthorized access or attacks that are aimed for exploitation. Monitor and protect products and systems.SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM
Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals.
