Program Director- Expert with Cybersecurity
CONTRACT-C2C-W2-1099 ANYTHING IS FINE 15+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Introduction:
The Program Director- Expert with Cybersecurity will be responsible for leading a technical security risk assessment and penetration testing initiative across 100 counties. This role will involve designing assessment strategies, managing the assessment team, and ensuring high-quality execution.
Responsibilities:
Lead and perform technical security risk assessments on county IT environments including servers, networks, firewalls, IAM, MFA, VPNs, and patching processes. Conduct internal/external penetration testing, vulnerability identification, and exploit validation. Develop standardized assessment methodologies, templates, testing procedures, and reporting formats for use across all counties. Manage and coordinate the assessment team''s workloads, assignments, schedules, and deliverables. Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and progress reports. Provide clear, non-technical communication of complex security topics to business leaders and stakeholders.
Requirements:
Skill Required / Desired Required Exp (Years) Experience in cybersecurity risk assessments and penetration testing. Required 7 Lead and perform technical security risk assessments on county IT environments. Required 5 Conduct internal/external penetration testing, vulnerability identification, and exploit validation. Required 7 Develop a repeatable assessment methodology, templates, testing procedures, and reporting formats.
