Job Description
Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an NCO Technical Lead to support KITS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity. The customer may need support as needed at other locations: Warrenton, VA, Atlantic City, NJ, Melbourne, FL, Oklahoma, OK and Leesburg, VA. We are seeking an experienced NCO Technical Lead to conduct advanced software and systems engineering activities, support software systems research, and develop new technical capabilities with integrated cybersecurity considerations. The NCO Technical Lead will evaluate emerging technologies, assess potential vulnerabilities, and guide the development of secure, mission‑driven solutions. This role requires a seasoned technical leader with deep engineering expertise and strong experience in cybersecurity‑focused system evaluation.
- Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- + Conduct software and systems engineering to develop new or enhanced capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
- + Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics from an accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- + Experience in systems engineering for cybersecurity‑sensitive environments. + Background in vulnerability research, cyber systems modeling, or secure architecture design. + Strong analytical, communication, and technical documentation skills.
