Full-Time About the Role This role will serve as a front-line defender against cyber threats , supporting intrusion detection/prevention, continuous diagnostics and mitigation (CDM), malware defense, incident response, vulnerability testing and analysis, security monitoring, and security compliance. You will collaborate with internal IT teams and third-party SOC teams to identify, investigate, document, track, and remediate security incidents and vulnerabilities while ensuring systems meet availability and security requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform network security analysis and work with third-party SOC teams on incident response, event analysis, and threat intelligence. Conduct strategic analysis and near real-time auditing, investigation, reporting, remediation, coordination, and tracking of security activities. Analyze security data and prepare reports documenting vulnerabilities from network-based attacks and recommend preventive/remediation actions. Perform network, system, and server security assessments . Monitor, analyze, and communicate security alerts and information. Support user account administration , including account creation, modification, deletion, access control requests, and reporting. Log and track security support requests using Incident Management tools . Required Background Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience. At least one recognized security certification — CompTIA Security+ minimum. 3-5+ years of Information Security Administration, Analysis, or Engineering experience in a corporate environment. Experience supporting third-party security tools used to manage and audit information systems. 3+ years of IT General Controls (ITGC) exposure. Preferred Technologies Direct experience with any of the following is a strong plus: Cortex | Proofpoint | Tanium | ServiceNow | Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD | Microsoft Azure Experience with SOC operations, vulnerability management/scanning, threat intelligence, incident response, security monitoring, IAM/access control, or network/system/server security assessments is also highly relevant.

Pay:

$85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
