Job Description
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred 0-2 years of experience in large and complex business environments with a successful track record working directly with senior level management with working knowledge in one or more of the following domains: Cybersecurity, Information Security, Network Engineering, or Network Operations, Information Technology, Application Development preferred 0-2 years of hands-on experience supporting requirements of a large, global enterprise environment preferred Prior experience in Cybersecurity Vulnerability Management is strongly preferred.What We Offer:

Flexible hybrid work environment, 4-days a week in office About the role: The Associate Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for executing a portion of the GM Financial (GMF) Cybersecurity Program designed to advise the organization on its management of cybersecurity risk by organizing information, enabling risk management decisions and addressing threats to ensure the security of company systems and information assets. The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for contributing to the success of comprehensive security initiatives, working with internal and external groups to ensure the program is operating effectively and efficiently and developing strong partnerships with business partners across the enterprise to ensure company information assets are protected at the appropriate level. Coordinating investigation and response activities to potential security events and user inquiries from multiple sources Investigating security events from detection to resolution, engaging in any containment, eradication and recovery actions as needed Performing analysis of various Data Loss Prevention (DLP) alerts, user activity, and log sources to identify suspicious or unauthorized activity Initiating, facilitating and promoting cybersecurity within the organization and monitoring adherence to cybersecurity policies, standards and controlsSimilar remote jobs
