Full-Time Job Duties:
1. Provide advance level technical support designing, implementing, and maintaining data center networks and security infrastructure. Identify, resolve, or escalate hardware or software issues. 2. Plan and implement new security technologies and major releases for the most critical enterprise-wide IT cloud platform projects; design, implement, and deploy cloud security systems to support and meet business needs; identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions. 3. Provide technical support and ensure reliable operation of cloud production; diagnose and troubleshoot the complex issues for cloud computing systems; contribute to the implementation of leading security technologies in infrastructure to improve its overall performance; maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of software and infrastructure platforms. 4. Develop architecture to manage cloud computing environments. 5. Elevate code into the development, test and production environments on schedule; provide follow-up production support; submit change control requests and documents. 6. Utilize understanding of client area business functions and requirements; determine appropriate technical tools to address the client's business needs. 7. Administer system activities; write the technical portion of assigned deliverables; perform systems analysis, including system requirements analysis and definition and logical design. 8. Monitor organizations network, network security, checking for vulnerabilities as well as researching and implementing the latest information security technologies. 9. Deploy cloud resources like EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, load balancers, lambda, cloud watch using CloudFormation templates. 10. Utilize programming languages like JSON, Python, YAML, Shell scripting, boto3, open sources and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment using version controls. 11. Monitor and troubleshoot web applications firewalls, Databases, logs. 12. May telecommute pursuant to company policies (hybrid role).
Requirements:
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Cloud Security Engineer, Specialist-related occupation.
