) Next Job Apply for Job Job ID 84864 Location Davis Full/Part Time Full Time Add to My Favorite Jobs this Job Job Summary #CA-PS Reporting to the Unit Information Security Liaison Manager , the Unit Information Security Consultant is a leadership position that works collaboratively with campus departments (Units) to ensure their local information security programs are aligned with university goals and objectives and support information security activities managed by the Unit. The Information Security Consultant serves as an advisor/consultant to Unit stakeholders on cyber risks and security remediation strategies. The Information Security Consultant champions the adoption of new security technologies in support of the Unit's information security objectives and risk mitigation strategies. Serves as an advocate and strategic partner for campus units, supports and enhances collaboration between campus Units and the UCD Information Security Office (ISO), and regularly debriefs the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) on current and emerging information security matters within the Unit.
