Job Summary McKee Foods is seeking a Systems & Database Engineer to join our Security Operations & End User Engineering> team.
Vulnerability & Security Management:
Implement and monitor advanced security measures and vulnerability assessments using CrowdStrike and Rapid7. This includes leveraging CIS Benchmarks for system hardening and the CIS Critical Security Controls to prioritize remediation efforts across the enterprise
Identity & Access Management:
Manage and secure identity services through Active Directory, GPOs, and Okta to control access and enforce system configurations
Collaboration Services:
Administer and support enterprise collaboration platforms, including Google Workspace and Webex, to ensure seamless business communicate
OS Administration:
Manage, patch, and troubleshoot Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems to ensure stability and security compliance, while prioritizing operational impact and end-user experience
Automation & Scripting:
Develop and deploy automation scripts using Python or PowerShell and leverage AI tools (such as Gemini) to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual tasks
System Design & Management:
Design, plan, and manage organizational IT systems, server software, and data center systems with increasing levels of autonomy
Infrastructure Operations:
Manage and optimize enterprise-level infrastructure, specifically focusing on server maintenance and ZTNA principals
End-User Engineering & VDI:
Support and maintain virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and mobile device management using
Omnissa Horizon and Omnissa Workspace ONE Cloud Infrastructure:
Assist in the design and management of scalable cloud services, primarily within GCP environments
Database Support:
Perform basic to advanced management and security monitoring for database systems
System Improvement:
Proactively assess current systems for potential upgrades, then plan and implement changes to enhance business impact
Technical Troubleshooting:
Act as a point of contact for fixing complex technical issues and performing routine system monitoring
Documentation & Compliance:
