We are seeking an Electronic Security Engineer 2 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets Responsibilities The Electronic Security Engineer provides technical, administrative, and field support for the successful execution of large-scale electronic security projects. Working closely with the Project Leader, Deputy Project Leader, Superintendent, field teams, and customers, this position helps coordinate engineering, procurement, scheduling, documentation, field execution, and commissioning activities. The role is intended to support project leadership by improving communication, organization, and execution throughout the project lifecycle. Project Coordination Support the Project Leader and Deputy Project Leader with daily project execution.
Assist with meeting coordination, agendas, meeting minutes, and action item tracking.
Help maintain project documentation, issue logs, and document control.
Assist with project reporting and schedule updates.
Support tracking of RFIs, submittals, bulletins, and change orders. Engineering & Technical Support Review construction drawings and specifications.
Assist with engineering clarifications and constructability reviews.
Support shop drawing reviews and maintain field redlines.
Help coordinate technical questions between engineering and field teams.
Support bill of material verification and equipment tracking. Field Support Perform regular field walks with project leadership.
Support the Superintendent and Foremen with technical and administrative needs.
Help coordinate manpower, materials, and field priorities.
Assist with QA/QC inspections and field documentation.
Track open field issues and help facilitate resolution. Procurement & Logistics Monitor procurement status and long-lead equipment.
Support vendor communications and material deliveries.
Assist with warehouse coordination and inventory tracking.
Support PITCO and prefabrication activities as required. Commissioning & Closeout Assist with commissioning documentation and testing schedules.
Track commissioning progress and deficiencies.
Support customer acceptance testing.
Assist with closeout documentation, as-builts, firmware records, and turnover packages. Qualifications Key Requirements Valid driver's license.
