This is a fully onsite role, day shift, supporting production and development systems for a large enterprise environment. If you have two or more years keeping Windows servers, Microsoft 365 and enterprise collaboration tools running, and you want a seat on a long-term program rather than another short contract, this is worth a conversation.
Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for production and development systems, both onsite and remote. Resolve Level 2 incidents affecting the operation and availability of production systems through troubleshooting and known fixes. Install, configure, patch and maintain servers, databases, network, storage and software solutions. Implement medium to high risk changes on production systems. Deploy standard, repeatable build-outs of medium complexity. Support intermediate backup strategies and disaster recovery testing, and serve as a resource to Level 1 technicians. Analyze system performance indicators and recommend improvements. Monitor vendor release notes and apply upgrades and patches as required. Install and maintain third-party tools, and participate in planning and designing new platforms. Train less experienced staff on supported products and production support best practice.
Requirements:
Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience. Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field preferred. 2-5 years of experience in information technology, systems administration or a related IT field. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and products, including Windows, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Teams. Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve intermediate hardware, software and networking problems. Ability to communicate clearly in writing and in person, and to translate technical detail for non-technical colleagues. Exceptional customer service skills. Experience with cloud infrastructure, digital workspace or storage technology is preferred. U.S. citizenship is required. No security clearance is required for this position.
Compensation:
