Software Product Security Engineer Description
- This role supports the development and maintenance of secure software products under the guidance of senior engineers.
NET / .NET
CoreWPF XAML ASP.NET
Core JavaScript / TypeScript Software Development Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts. Familiarity with software development lifecycle practices. Basic knowledge of unit testing frameworks and methodologies. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps. Windows Development Fundamentals Basic understanding of: Windows Registry Certificates File and folder permissions Local and domain user security Familiarity with: Multi-threading Sockets Inter-process communication Full Stack Development Basic understanding of: ReactJS or similar JavaScript frameworks RESTful APIsHTML5 CSS3 JSON
Cloud Services Basic knowledge or exposure to cloud platforms such as: Microsoft Azure AWS Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Understanding of Cloud concepts including: Cloud-hosted applications and services Containers (Docker) CI/CD pipelines Identity and access management fundamentals Cloud security best practicesAdditional Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment. Willingness to learn new technologies and security practices. Preferred Experience Exposure to secure coding practices and software security concepts. Basic understanding of authentication, authorization, and encryption fundamentals.
