3005082624-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Principal Delivery Consultant to lead complex cloud transformation programs for public sector customers. You will own end-to-end delivery of large AWS engagements, shaping strategy, roadmaps, and architectures that leverage compute, storage, databases, analytics, and security services. Partner with customer executives, guide technical teams, and establish delivery best practices and governance. You will mentor consultants, drive automation and data-driven decisions, and support business development while working in a fast-paced, customer-obsessed, and innovative environment. Responsibilities Lead complex cloud delivery engagements for public sector customers on AWSDefine delivery strategy, roadmaps, and migration plans for large-scale workloads Collaborate with customer executives to align cloud solutions with business goals Provide technical leadership across architecture, security, and operations Mentor and guide cross-functional consulting and delivery teams Establish delivery best practices, governance, and risk management Drive continuous improvement, automation, and data-driven decision making Create thought leadership assets, reusable frameworks, and reference architectures Partner with product and engineering teams to influence AWS services Support business development efforts, proposals, and statements of work Required Skills Cloud architecture (AWS) Enterprise IT consulting Program and project management Public sector compliance and security Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Cloud Formation, Terraform) Migration and modernization strategies Dev Ops and CI/CD practices Stakeholder and executive communication Data and analytics solutions on cloud Risk, governance, and delivery methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)
