What they do
A Vulnerability Analyst or Penetration Tester probes for and exploits security vulnerabilities in web-based applications, networks and systems. Penetration Tests are designed to achieve a specific, attacker-simulated goal and should be requested by customers who are already at their desired security posture. A typical goal could be to access the contents of the prized customer database on the internal network, or to modify a record in an HR system. Vulnerability Assessments are designed to yield a prioritized list of vulnerabilities and are generally for clients who already understand they are not where they want to be in terms of security. The customer already knows they have issues and simply need help identifying and prioritizing them.

Nightwing is seeking a Technical Collections Engineer, Jr. level. An ideal candidate will have basic Linux operating experience to include troubleshooting technical issues. The Technical Collections Engineer, Jr. level will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, analyze and interpret signals data.CLEARANCE LEVEL

- Required Skills
- + Working level knowledge of: + TCP/IP and OSI network models + Linux systems administration + Cloud-based services + Automation tools and scripting languages such as Bash or Python + Proven ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
- Desired Skills
- + Prior experience as a military Signal Collections Analyst or Information Technology Administrator + Experience in signals analysis, network analysis or related field + Experience with virtualization technologies + Prior experience with SIGINT collection systems. + Working knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts
Education and Experience:
- + Bachelor's degree in computer science or other technical fields of study. In lieu of technical degree, and four (4) years relevant experience + In lieu of a degree, relevant military experience can be applied + \#1N2X1, #35N, #35S, #35P, #CTR,
- Salary & Benefits
- The salary associated with this position ($64,000-$128,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
