Job Duties:
Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets. Analyze and manipulate large data sets using statistical software. Support build and optimization of our real-time data and real-time data pipeline architecture working in conjunction with cross functional teams. Responsible for data flow design and implementation. Create and maintain optimal real- data pipeline architecture. Gather and process large, complex, raw data sets at scale, including writing scripts, web scraping, calling APIs, write SQL queries that meet business requirements. Apply feature selection algorithms to model predicting outcomes. Design, develop, and deliver world class data algorithmic artifacts, including documentation and coding; coordinate data algorithmic development with infrastructural development; work closely with our engineering and cross functional IT teams to integrate innovations and algorithms into products. Research and apply advanced algorithms and methods involving data mining, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques. Process unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a data scientist-related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a data scientist-related occupation.
