Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce has a client seeking a Lead Data Engineer in Fort Lauderdale, FL to drive the design and delivery of modern Customer 360, Identity Graph, and AI-enabled data platform solutions.Summary:
This role will lead the development of scalable data products that support machine learning, customer intelligence, personalization, and emerging AI capabilities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with deep expertise in cloud data platforms and a proven track record building greenfield data solutions from concept to production.Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of Customer 360 and identity resolution solutions across multiple enterprise data sources
- Develop data architectures and models that support unified customer profiles, relationship mapping, and customer intelligence initiatives
- Design and build scalable batch and real-time data pipelines
- Create domain-driven data products that support AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics
- Establish data engineering standards, best practices, and reusable architectural frameworks
- Drive data quality, governance, lineage, and platform reliability
- Design AI-ready and ML-ready data solutions leveraging modern cloud technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across solution design and architecture reviews
REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years of Data Engineering experience
- 3+ years in a Lead Engineer, Principal Engineer, or Architect capacity
- Strong experience building modern cloud-based data platforms
- Proven success delivering greenfield data initiatives Expertise with:
- Snowflake
- Databricks
- Data Lakehouse architectures
- Streaming technologies
- Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Data product development Experience designing and implementing:
- Customer 360 platforms
- Identity resolution solutions
- Customer identity graphs
- Recommendation data architectures
- Advanced SQL and Python development skills
- Experience supporting machine learning and AI workloads
Preferred Skills:
- Experience within hospitality, gaming, travel, loyalty, consumer digital, or related industries
- Knowledge of real-time personalization and recommendation platforms
- Experience building customer analytics ecosystems
- Feature store and ML data preparation framework experience
- Exposure to AI agent initiatives and semantic data architectures The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
