Full-Time Position Summary OX Floors is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Data Engineer to help build, maintain, and improve the data systems that support our rapidly growing concrete coating business. This position will work with data from marketing, call center, sales, operations, customer management systems, and other business platforms. The Jr. Data Engineer will help ensure our data is accurate, organized, accessible, and useful for making better business decisions. The ideal candidate is analytical, technically curious, and comfortable working with large amounts of data while learning new tools and technologies. Key ResponsibilitiesData Management & Integration Collect, organize, clean, and maintain business data from multiple sources. Help build and maintain data pipelines and automated data processes. Integrate data from CRM, marketing, call center, sales, scheduling, and operational systems. Identify and correct duplicate, missing, or inaccurate data. Maintain consistent data structures and naming conventions. Reporting & Analytics Support the creation of dashboards and reports for management. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports. Track key business metrics including leads, appointments, sales, conversion rates, marketing performance, and production. Work with management to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Ensure reports are accurate and delivered on schedule. Database & Technology Support Assist with maintaining databases and data warehouses. Write and modify SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data. Assist with data automation using Python or other appropriate tools. Troubleshoot data-related issues and identify the root cause of problems. Document data processes, systems, and workflows. Data Quality & Security Monitor data quality and integrity across company systems. Establish processes to improve data accuracy. Help maintain secure handling of company and customer information. Follow company policies regarding data privacy and access. Business Support Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Call Center, Operations, and Finance teams. Translate business needs into data and reporting solutions. Provide management with reliable information to support decision-making. Assist with special data projects and new technology implementations. Required Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, database management, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge. Familiarity with Python or another programming language. Experience working with spreadsheets and data management tools. Strong attention to detail. Ability to organize and analyze large amounts of information. Ability to learn new software and technology quickly. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or other business intelligence tools. Experience with APIs and data integrations. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience with ETL/ELT processes. Experience working with marketing, sales, or call center data. Knowledge of AI and automation tools. Experience in a fast-growing company or multi-location business. Performance Expectations The successful candidate will be expected to: Maintain accurate and reliable company data. Improve the automation and efficiency of data processes. Reduce manual reporting and data-entry requirements. Deliver accurate reports and dashboards on time. Identify opportunities to improve data quality and business intelligence. Help OX Floors use data to improve lead generation, appointment setting, sales performance, marketing ROI, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
