$125,000-$150,000, depending on experience I'm partnering with a growing organization in the Northwest Atlanta/Acworth area that is looking to add a Data Engineer to its Data & Analytics team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across data engineering, architecture, and business intelligence rather than being limited to just building pipelines. The Data Engineer will help design how data moves throughout the organization, build and optimize the pipelines and integrations supporting the environment, and develop BI solutions used by business leaders across multiple functions. The environment is heavily centered around Microsoft Fabric and Power BI , so hands-on experience with both will be especially important. What You'll Be Doing Design scalable data architecture across ingestion, storage, transformation, and consumption layers Build and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines supporting multiple enterprise data sources Work extensively within Microsoft Fabric and the broader Azure ecosystem Develop custom integrations and connectors using Python and APIs Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, datasets, and semantic models Develop complex SQL queries and optimize performance across large datasets Apply dimensional modeling, star schema, and Lakehouse/medallion architecture principles Integrate data from ERP, CRM, e-commerce, warehouse management, and other operational platforms Support data pipelines used for machine learning and advanced analytics Help establish data governance, security, quality, documentation, and technical standards Partner directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions These responsibilities closely track the original position, including ELT/ETL development, Python-based custom connectors, REST/SOAP APIs, Power BI semantic models, DAX/Power Query, SQL optimization, ML support, and data governance. What We're Looking For 4-7 years of Data Engineering experience Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience - required Strong Power BI development experience, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and Row-Level Security Advanced SQL skills Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines Experience with data warehouse and/or Lakehouse architectures Python experience, particularly for scripting, API integrations, or custom connectors Understanding of Azure/cloud data environments Experience working directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
