Senior Specialist - Data Engineering

Role description Job Summary Seeking a Senior Specialist with 7 to 11 years of experience in Oracle PLSQL to design develop and optimize highperformance database solutions within the Informatica Administrator skill cluster Job Description Design and develop complex Oracle PLSQL packages procedures functions and triggers to support critical business applications Implement efficient and scalable database solutions ensuring high performance data integrity and security Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications Monitor and optimize existing PLSQL code and database objects to improve system performance and scalability Participate in database design reviews and recommend best practices aligned with organizational standards Stay updated on the latest Oracle database technologies and suggest enhancements to existing processes Assist in troubleshooting and resolving databaserelated issues in production and development environments Roles and Responsibilities Lead the development and maintenance of Oracle PLSQL codebases adhering to coding standards and best practices Perform code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers to enhance PLSQL skills and knowledge Optimize ETL processes and database workflows within Informatica environments Collaborate with DBAs to manage database objects backups and recovery procedures Conduct performance tuning query optimization and capacity planning to ensure system efficiency Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to align development efforts with project goals Support production releases incident resolution and root cause analysis Document database designs development standards and operational procedures Participate actively in Agile ceremonies contributing to sprint planning and delivery commitments
