You'll work across engineering, product, and scientific teams to design and deliver scalable data solutions that have a direct impact on customers and the business. What you'll be doing:

• Leading a team of engineers while remaining hands-on technically
• Taking ownership of complex project delivery from requirements gathering through production deployment
• Designing and building scalable data pipelines, data models, and data products using Python
• Working closely with customers and cross-functional stakeholders to solve challenging scientific and data engineering problems
• Driving technical design discussions and architectural decisions
• Mentoring engineers and helping elevate technical standards across the team
• Building reusable frameworks, components, and tools that enable future scalability
• Navigating ambiguity, removing blockers, and ensuring successful customer outcomes What we're looking for:
• Extensive experience in data engineering, data modeling and building data pipelines
• Strong Python and SQL expertise
• Proven technical leadership experience with responsibility for project delivery and engineering teams
• A track record of successfully leading complex, customer-facing implementations
• The ability to balance technical depth with stakeholder management and business outcomes
• Someone who is naturally curious, loves learning, and enjoys tackling unfamiliar challenges
• A proactive self-starter who takes ownership rather than waiting for direction
• Comfortable making decisions and driving progress in environments where requirements may not always be perfectly defined
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to lead technical conversations with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders Nice to have:
