AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an L2 Data Engineer to join our growing team. We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer II is sought to join a growing team. The ideal candidate has strong experience designing, building, and supporting scalable data pipelines and curated data solutions using Azure Data Factory and SQL Server. This role focuses on delivering reliable, secure, and well-governed data assets that enable analytics, reporting, and operational use cases, while collaborating closely with cross‑functional partners. Job Description As a Data Engineer II, you will provide expertise in data engineering tools and platforms within a defined domain. You will identify development and support needs, take on design responsibilities for data pipelines and transformations, and support operational readiness. This role facilitates collaboration across teams to ensure data solutions align with business goals and downstream consumers. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure data pipelines using Azure Data Factory. Build and maintain curated data models in SQL Server to support analytics, reporting, and operational workloads. Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for performance and reliability. Implement data ingestion, transformation, and loading patterns across multiple source systems. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical data solutions. Write clean, efficient, well‑documented, and maintainable pipeline and transformation code. Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared data engineering standards and best practices. Ensure data pipeline performance, scalability, reliability, and security, including appropriate access controls. Design and maintain data quality, pipeline health, and monitoring metrics; support alerting and operational runbooks. Develop and maintain technical documentation in compliance with IT policies and standards. Troubleshoot and resolve complex data and pipeline issues; participate in root cause analysis. Mentor and guide junior engineers through reviews and knowledge sharing. Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles Strong expertise in SQL Server, including performance tuning and data modeling Hands‑on experience building and supporting pipelines with Azure Data Factory Experience working with .NET C# and Azure Solid experience with data migration and transformation Experience with source control in Git and Azure DevOps Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills Nice to Haves Experience with Azure data platform components Azure SQL and Azure Storage Experience implementing data quality, governance, or lineage practices Knowledge of Financial Services or Banking data domains Prior experience leading data initiatives or mentoring engineers

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
