Data Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support a Salesforce data migration initiative for Comcast Advertising. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Spark, PySpark, Python, and Databricks, with proven experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale data pipelines. This role will focus on core CRM data engineering initiatives and requires close collaboration with senior engineering teams within an Agile/Scrum environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale data pipelines using Spark, PySpark, Python, and Databricks Support Salesforce data migration and CRM-related data engineering initiatives Develop and optimize ETL processes for large-scale data integration projects Collaborate with senior engineers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions Work within Agile/Scrum teams to support sprint planning, development, testing, and deployment activities Ensure data quality, reliability, scalability, and performance across data platforms Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and integration issues Support data warehouse and reporting initiatives as needed Document technical processes, workflows, and data engineering solutions Required Qualifications 7-10 years of experience in Data Engineering Strong hands-on experience with Python for ETL development Strong hands-on experience with Spark Strong hands-on experience with PySpark Strong experience working with Databricks Experience building and supporting enterprise-scale data pipelines 7-9 years of experience working on data integration projects Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to clearly explain technical project experience during interviews Preferred Qualifications Experience with Salesforce platforms and data migration initiatives Experience with CRM data migration projects Java development experience Experience with data warehouse technologies and architectures Additional Information Spark and PySpark experience are mandatory requirements for this role This position is 100% remote; however, candidates must be available to work EST hours Candidates must attend an onsite second-round interview The selected candidate will work closely with a Senior Engineer Resumes should clearly highlight hands-on project experience and required technical skills
