RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Palantir Data Engineer in Armonk, NY.Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Palantir Foundry Data Engineer to support enterprise-scale data integration and operational analytics initiatives. This role will focus on designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines within Palantir Foundry while integrating large datasets from cloud platforms, geospatial systems, and operational data sources. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, PySpark, Databricks, SQL, and Azure-based data ecosystems. Experience working with geospatial/GIS data and supporting operational workflows is highly desirable.Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines within Palantir Foundry using Code Repositories, Transforms, and Workbooks
- Build and manage Foundry Ontology objects, properties, actions, and relationships to support business workflows
- Develop scalable ETL/ELT solutions using PySpark and Databricks
- Create and maintain application logic, workflows, and integrations using TypeScript
- Integrate and transform data from multiple enterprise systems including: Snowflake; SQL Server; Operational Data Stores (ODS); GIS platforms; Azure-based data services
- Support geospatial data processing, mapping solutions, and spatial data transformations
- Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, security, and access controls across data platforms
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical resources to define and implement data solutions
- Troubleshoot and optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Participate in architecture discussions and recommend best practices for data engineering and Foundry platform development
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry
- Strong experience developing data pipelines using PySpark
- Experience with Databricks in a cloud-based environment
- Proficiency in TypeScript development
- Strong SQL skills with experience querying and integrating data from: Snowflake; Microsoft SQL Server; Operational Data Stores (ODS)
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure data services and cloud technologies
- Experience designing and supporting enterprise ETL/ELT frameworks
- Familiarity with geospatial, location-based, or GIS datasets
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with ArcGIS or other GIS platforms
- Experience supporting field operations, asset management, or location-based workflows
- Experience integrating data across large-scale enterprise environments
- Knowledge of spatial data models, mapping technologies, and geospatial analytics
- Exposure to utility, energy, telecommunications, transportation, or asset-intensive industries The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
